Privacy Policy

I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1. This Policy specifies the terms of protecting and processing users’ personal data by the personal data administrator (service provider) in relation to the BeardShop online shop run by that administrator.

1.2. The personal data administrator is: Q-Solutions, Paweł Struczewski, ul. Kochanowskiego 52/145, 01-864 Warszawa.

II. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED BY BEARDSHOP

2.1. The administrator processes the following personal data, which you must provide in order to use the shop.   

   2.1.1. In the case of individuals (consumers):

  • first name
  • last name
  • e-mail address
  • phone
  • street, house number and apartment number
  • town/city
  • ZIP code
  • province
  • place
  • country

   

  2.1.2. In the case of companies (entrepreneurs):

  • data listed in the section above
  • company data
  • tax identification number 

 

2.2. The administrator may also process other personal data, if you decide to provide it (provision of such data is not required to use the shop but may facilitate that use or enable access to some features):

  • alternative shipping address
  • bank account number (for payments by wire transfer) or credit/debit card number (for payments by card)
  • alternative delivery address 

 

2.3. Shop users are unregistered - it means you can not log in with user and password data.

2.4. The administrator can identify a given user by e-mail address and other personal data.

2.5. When placing an order, you receive an individual order number, which the administrator may use to identify you.

2.6. Moreover, the IP address of your computer is visible to the administrator.

2.7. The shop (as any other online shop) may also process the so-called usage data which describes how you use the shop, for example:

  • IP address
  • digital logs
  • information about your use of the shop
  • browser type
  • domain name
  • operating system type

 

2.8. The shop may use cookies to adjust services and content to the users’ individual needs and preferences, and to generate overall statistics concerning the use of the shop by the users. If you disable cookies in your web browser, you can still use the shop in general, although there may be some difficulties. The cookies do not contain any personal data.

III. FOR WHAT PURPOSE IS MY PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED?

3.1. Your personal data is processed to enable your use of the shop. In particular, this allows you and the shop to conclude purchase/sale contracts, fulfill accounting requirements, settle accounts and communicate.

3.2. In addition, your personal data may be processed for the purpose of sending you commercial information (a newsletter), if you express consent to receive it.

3.3. You may cancel the above-mentioned consent at any time.

IV. WHO CAN ACCESS MY PERSONAL DATA?

4.1. Your personal data may be accessed by:

  • the administrator
  • the administrator’s employees or providers of shop-related services (e.g. programmers, IT specialists, security administrators and people responsible for system management and maintenance; within the scope specified by the administrator, they are registered as persons authorized to process personal data)
  • state authorities conducting relevant proceedings, if those authorities have proper authorization under separate regulations (the prosecutor’s offices, courts, the Police, the Ombudsman, etc.), and in other cases where the shop is obliged to provide such access under currently binding legal regulations.

 

V. IS MY PERSONAL DATA SECURE?

Yes, your personal data is properly secured. The hosting server of the shop is maintained by OVH Sp. z o.o. The technological and formal solutions introduced by that company within the scope of its hosting services meet the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (Journal of Laws 2002 No. 101, item 926, as amended) and related implementing regulations. Moreover, the shop’s website is protected by the SSL certificate, which guarantees secure shopping.

VI. WHAT HAPPENS TO MY PERSONAL DATA? CAN I REQUEST THE REMOVAL OF THAT DATA? 

6.1. The personal data you provide is stored in the shop’s database. However, you can ask the shop to remove that data from the database at any time.

6.2. In special cases, the shop may, pursuant to current regulations, process certain personal data if:

  • that data is required to settle accounts for a service or to pursue claims related to payment for the use of the shop; the service-related settlement provided to you does not disclose the type, duration, frequency or other technical parameters of individual services you used, unless you requested such detailed information
  • that data is necessary to explain the circumstances of any misuse of the shop
  • the processing of that data is allowed by separate acts or agreements
  • (in the case of usage data) such data is required to identify technical faults and errors concerning data transmission.

6.3. Moreover, if you misuse the shop (i.e. use it in a way that violates the Terms & Conditions or current regulations), the shop may process your personal data insofar as it is necessary to define your responsibility. Upon receiving information about your misuse of the shop, the shop is obliged to keep that information on file for evidence purposes. That is why, you should always use the shop in comply with legal regulations and the Terms & Conditions.

VII. DO I HAVE ANY OTHER RIGHTS IN RELATION TO MY PERSONAL DATA? 

You always have the right to access, add, modify or delete your data. You can also request the shop to add, modify or delete your personal data, processed in relation to your use of the shop, excluding data which the shop is authorized to process by law.
